At Ozondjahe Hunting Safaris in Namibia along with top quality hunting you will find a superior level of service, hospitality, abundant delicious food and unparalleled accommodations. In 2013 we completed a massive renovation bringing our accommodations up to the highest standard that can be found in Namibia. We have entirely updated our three very private guest bungalows which can accommodate up to four guests each, the main lodge bedrooms which can accommodate up to eight more guests, landscaping, pool and at the center of it all is our brand new African thatch roof poolside lapa.
The new lapa is an impressive ultra comfortable modern 3,400 square foot (315 square meters) covered outdoor living space with a full bar, including satellite TV, a dining room with outstanding waterhole views and sumptuous living room lounge facing a massive stone fireplace. One side of the lapa is open to our sparkling blue infinity pool with lounge shelf which has ample poolside sunbathing overlooking lush grounds. The other side of the lapa has giant glass sliders that when open disappear for an unfettered view to our lit waterhole for day and night time game viewing. Outside of the lapa there is also a more rustic traditional open campfire area for story telling and having a few laughs under the stars for those who wish to have the dirt under their feet and be immersed in the sights and sounds of the bush.
Each of our three private bungalows are very comfortable and spacious at 560 square feet (52 square meters) with their own en suite bathroom and toilet. Each bungalow has marble flooring and has been tastefully redecorated in chic modern safari style. They are well appointed with two queen size super comfortable beds, fine hotel quality linens, goose down duvet comforters, a sitting area, writing desk/vanity with mirror, minibar and a bathroom with shower, double sinks, a full length mirror and hairdryer. Within the main lodge house there are two bedrooms with large en suite bathrooms, both of which have a shower and a bathtub, one with a queen size bed and the other with a king size bed. There are two other bedrooms that are in their own separate wing that share a bathroom which is perfectly suited to a family with small children. The bedrooms are right next door to each other one has a king size bed the other has two single beds the bedroom doors can even be left open as there is a door that locks at the end of the hallway that separates these rooms and bathroom from the rest of the house. There are two living rooms; a cozy one for winter and a cooler one for warmer evenings. One has a fireplace and a media center with a television that is connected to international satellite. There is also an office in the main lodge that has a phone and a computer with an internet connection.
